This bulletin is going to all registered SiEntries entrants including those that have subsequently dropped out or transferred their places (as all entrants remain on the list). Please ignore this message if you have dropped out or transferred your place.

Just an update with a week to go until the main event:
The check-in desk will be split by entrant surname as follows: A-D, E-J, K-R and S-Z.
Please go to your relevant desk and collect your race pack consisting of a numbered tally on a string, race number and safety pins.
Tally’s must be worn and carried round the route, presented if requested and handed back at the finish or to the checkpoint officer if you retire on the route. Any missing tally’s will be charged for or entrants will be disqualified/ banned from the 2020 event!
Race numbers should be displayed so that checkpoint officials can clearly see your race number to facilitate monitoring throughout the course. Race numbers can be kept as a momento (these will be branded/ sponsored next year!).
Please be aware that there continues to be significant flood works in Mytholmroyd and there are temporary traffic lights at the main junction. Whilst the race starts early, please be mindful that the traffic lights may lead to a longer than expected journey time and factor this in to your arrival.
If you can, please try and not travel through the traffic lights and park your side of the traffic lights from whichever direction you are travelling from.
There will be a short walk to the venue, wherever you park.
There is no on site parking on the Race HQ. See below for parking options.
Where possible, please car share as there is limited parking in and around the village, see below.
The HQ is on a main bus route from Hebden Bridge/ Sowerby Bridge/ Halifax.
The HQ is also next door to Mytholmroyd train station, there continues to be some delays due to ongoing strike action on Saturday’s, particularly after 17:00 but where possible please use public transport.
Given that the usual carpark at the community centre forms part of the site office for the ongoing flood works, there are only limited spaces at the Community Centre (an honesty box is in operation for parking fees, please contribute).
In addition, I have negotiated with Calder High School (Brier Hey Lane, HX7 5QN) to use their car park on the Saturday morning.
I have also negotiated for parking at Orchard Business Centre (bottom of Scout Road). The car park will be locked promptly at 17:30.
As you would expect, use of the car parks are completely at the owner’s risk and they accept no responsibility for any damage or loss arising.
In addition there is on street parking, not limited to but including Cragg Road (near Royd Ices), Caldene Avenue and Scout Road.
If you park on the street, then please be mindful of local residents, leave access for resident cars, ensure pedestrians/ prams etc can get past your vehicle on pavements.
All parking is at your own risk and if you park in a business car park and not on the street, please be mindful of your expected or unexpected finish time.
Clearly, all parking is on a first come, first served basis.
There are no changes to the previously publicised route or Checkpoints at this stage.
CROWS (Community Rights Of Way Service), have put a significant amount of work in to the route over recent years.
We are not aware with any issues with the route but please feedback to the checkpoint officers or at the finish if there are any suggestions or problems.
If there are any particular sections that require some attention or you think would be beneficial then please let checkpoint staff know or let the officials know at the finish.
